opportunity to differentiate and drive margins by offering specialized services
targeted to big business. New Jersey-based Exario was one with a particularly
bold plan: to court corporate leaders in nearby Manhattan with secure, high-bandwidth
virtual private network-building capabilities. Renamed, repackaged and armed with
a sophisticated arsenal of communications tools, the company achieved the high-profile
presence it sought.
